Refund & Cancellation Policy — Studio89

  1. Service Nature & Refund Eligibility
    Studio89 provides services (studio rental, photography/videography, video resumes, production services). Due to their customized nature:
    • Refunds are generally not offered for services once booked and confirmed (e.g., studio rental, scheduled shoots) unless otherwise stated.
    • If a booking is canceled by you less than 72 hours before the scheduled service, refunds will not be issued.
    Note: In Bangladesh, the Consumer Rights Protection Act, 2009 provides that consumers have a right to redress including refunds or compensation if services are not delivered as agreed.
  2. Cancellation by Studio89
    If Studio89 must cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances or operational issues:
    • You will be offered a full refund OR a rescheduled appointment based on your preference.
    • Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used during booking.
  3. Advance Payments and No-Shows
    Advance payments are required for bookings. If you do not attend (a no-show) without prior cancellation, the payment may be retained by Studio89 unless otherwise agreed.
  4. Refund Timing
    When a refund is approved:
    • Refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days to the original payment method.
    • Refunds may take longer depending on your bank or payment provider.
  5. Refund for Unfulfilled Services
    If a service is not fulfilled due to Studio89’s failure to deliver as contracted:
    • You may request a refund or service replacement.
    • We will attempt to resolve the issue amicably. If unresolved, you may pursue your rights via the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection or other consumer legal channels in Bangladesh.
